Grants/Programs Funded
Collaborative Grants - The primary funding opportunity is through the spring "TeamUp" grant. It requires a minimum number of three nonprofit partners on a creative approach to serving a particular population in need. The Foundation seeks to fund innovative projects with integrated strategies for meeting the needs of youth in a holistic manner.
Co-occupant Program - for small or emerging nonprofits involved in either the arts or health and human services.
Capacity Cooperative Program [CCP] - provides shared bookkeeping services, for two years, to three small-sized nonprofit organizations.
Other Grants - Arts scholarships for youth with financial need, and a very small number of other legacy grants that do not fit within the Foundation's primary funding framework, "TeamUp".
Seminars - provided free of charge, to interested local nonprofits on topics of importance such as fundraising, board development, and strategic planning.
Please note, that grants are not awarded for general operating support, endowments, capital construction, fundraising campaigns or efforts to influence legislation or public elections or to pay off existing debts or deficits. Also, grants are not awarded to individuals.
